Solico Metal is a leading manufacturer of structural steel and warehouse storage systems, based in Calgary, Alberta. We specialize in a wide range of products including structural steel, cantilever racking, pallet racking, steel mezzanines, and storage lockers, using advanced technologies like steel laser cutting and in-house painting to ensure precise, high-quality solutions. Manufactured in Canada
Maintaining in-house manufacturing and quality control, allows our clients to benefit from our extensive experience in steel forming and fabrication techniques; creating bespoke-designed steel and storage solutions using standard or ‘custom’ components.
Our racking is made in Calgary, Alberta, at one of the few manufacturing operations in Western Canada. The central location of the factory ensures effective delivery and helps minimize our carbon footprint.
Our facility is strategically located near the Highway 2 transportation corridor and equipped with the following:
- 43,000 sq ft fabrication shop
- 10,000 sq ft painting shop
- 50+ shop and office staff
- 3x cranes of 10-, 15- and 25-tons

Canadian Welding Bureau
We are certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau, meaning we ensure that all our weld quality and workmanship are of high standards and up to the high levels specified by the design. As a CWB-certified company, we focus on welding safety and are required to employ an adequate number of Welding Supervisors with welding-related experience, to control welding operations. We also have a full-time welding supervisor and QC inspector on staff.
