Steel Mezzanine

A steel mezzanine system is an ultimate solution to maximize floor space in buildings with enough room for a second floor or more. It can cost-effectively extend your factory, production area, warehouse or commercial property without an additional footprint. Mezzanines offer everything from increased storage space to office areas at a much lower cost than a relocation.

In industrial settings, mezzanines have the option of being installed (rather than built as part of the structure) in high-ceilinged spaces such as warehouses and factories. These semi-permanent structures can be free-standing, which means they can be dismantled and relocated. Industrial mezzanine structures can be supported by structural steel columns and elements or by racks or shelves. Depending on the span of the mezzanine, there are a variety of materials to choose from for the deck. Some industrial mezzanines may also include enclosed, panelled office space on their upper levels.

Solico offers an on-site survey service to determine the available options. Recommendations are made based on the space, specific requirements of the customer, and the suitability of the area created for these requirements.
