Solico made a strategic decision to implement their innovative pushback system from design to manufacturing and installation, for the meat processing company because it perfectly addressed the dual challenges of limited space and oversized pallets. Unlike traditional racking solutions, the pushback system maximizes storage density by using inclined rails that allow pallets to slide back and forth, thus eliminating the need for wide aisles and making full use of vertical space. This approach not only accommodated the oversized pallets efficiently but also enhanced access with its FIFO (First In, First Out) principle, crucial for maintaining smooth operations. By increasing storage capacity without expanding the facility’s physical footprint, the pushback system delivered significant cost savings and operational improvements, making it an ideal solution for the space constraints of food industry clients.
