Solico Metal is proud to highlight our completed scope of work on the Royal BC Museum project in Colwood, Vancouver Island, BC.
This major $270 million development brought together advanced construction methods, detailed planning, and close collaboration across multiple teams. From fall 2024 to spring 2026, Solico Metal contributed to the project through the design, supply, and installation of structural steel, including key structural components and miscellaneous steel elements.
One of the most important aspects of this project was the integration of steel with the building’s mass timber structure. This required careful coordination, accurate detailing, and strong communication between design, fabrication, delivery, and installation teams.
Working alongside Maple Reinders as the general contractor, our team helped support a complex and meaningful project with precision, reliability, and care. This completed scope reflects Solico Metal’s ability to contribute to large-scale construction projects across Western Canada.
