Position: Fabricator, Structural Metal
Location: Calgary, AB T2G 1J9
Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 hourly (based on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift Timing: Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Shift
Start Date: As soon as possible

Worksite: On-site work required, no remote work option available

• 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Determine materials required for fabrication
• Lay out reference points and patterns
• Plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently
• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements
• Weld or bolt sections together to assemble the structure
• Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines
• Construct patterns and templates for metal fabrication
• Install fabricated components in the final product
