Located near 17 Avenue SE and Stoney Trail, the approximately 59,000-square-foot development includes six commercial buildings designed to serve the growing Belvedere community and surrounding area.

Working with Keller Construction Ltd., Solico provided the structural steel fabrication and installation for the development, delivering approximately 550,000 pounds of steel across the project.

Coordinating Steel Across a Multi-Building Site
With several buildings progressing simultaneously, Belvedere Market required careful coordination between fabrication, delivery and field installation.
Solico worked closely with the project team and other trades to sequence steel production and erection with the overall construction schedule. The structural steel installation was completed in approximately three months, requiring detailed planning to keep work progressing efficiently across the active multi-building site.
From early coordination through fabrication and erection, Solico managed the steel package with a focus on quality, scheduling and effective communication between the shop and field teams.

Belvedere Market is part of the continued commercial growth taking place in southeast Calgary, bringing new retail and service space to an expanding residential area.
The project demonstrates Solico’s ability to manage large-scale, multi-building structural steel packages, combining in-house fabrication capabilities with coordinated installation in the field.
